Occasionally, We Mitzvah…
While it’s not often, occasionally we plan mitzvahs. While bar and bat mitzvahs are a very different kind of affair from nearly all others, it was fun to dive in and design an event that reflected the bat mitzvah girl’s sophistication and poise juxtaposed with her youthful charm and personal style. She originally told us she wanted “black and gold” as her colors. Hmmm… We wondered… 😉 To avoid the standard black and gold mitzvah decor pitfalls, we added a third color, with her approval, of dusty pink to soften the palette and give the party a sense of girlish whim. We think it did the trick!
