1️⃣ Capacity & Flow – Ensure your venue comfortably fits your guest list while allowing ample room for dining, entertainment, and movement. Don`t be afraid of spaces that feel too big. Great design makes spaces big and small feel intimate.
2️⃣ Vendor & Client Friendly – Anything is possible when you have great partners. A venue, like the one featured this week, that has incredible in-house capabilities, top-notch event staff, and the confidence to take risks with their space will be the launching pad for your unforgettable party.
3️⃣ Large venues often have preferred vendors who have worked in the space before. Partner with those who understand the venue’s logistics and regulations.
4️⃣ City Events = Special Considerations – If your event is in a major city, permits, load-in schedules, union rules, parking and noise restrictions may apply. A great venue will be forthcoming with any potential city hiccups.
